His birth which signifies the immeasurable love of God the Father. We read in John 3:16, the true reason for the season, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Did you know that it is God’s will for you to be continually thankful?

We read in 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 (AMP) that we are to, “Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

Thankfulness is a fruit of gratitude.

Our November Sermon Series entitled, “An Attitude of Gratitude” explores why God’s expectation of our attitude in every situation is to be one of gratitude.

For some the holiday season is one of regret. We can find ourselves hashing over choices that may or may not have been the wisest or mulling over opportunities that came and went. Our attitudes can be downright sour. The good news is that God is in our situations.  We can be thankful for that!

You are welcome to join us for the month of November as we make an attitude shift to one of gratitude.

Looking at the world around us, we may find it hard at times to be hopeful. Mountainous challenges, broken relationships, financial setbacks and the like, can be thieves. Over the next 10-weeks we will explore how we can live a life, where joy remains no matter the circumstance. The choice is ours!

You are welcome to join us as we trek through God’s Word. We will learn about the power and freedom the Joy of the Lord gives us.
